About Us

Faith Rest Life exists to help followers of Jesus cultivate a deep, daily relationship with Him. Through original music, scripture readings, guided prayer, biblical meditation, contemplative resources, and thoughtful writing, our hope is to offer simple tools that help people slow down, listen, and become more aware of God—His goodness, His nearness, and His invitation to walk with Him.

Stephen has spent his life working with sound. He owns and operates a professional recording studio, works in live audio, and designs and builds professional audio equipment through Pettyjohn Electronics and Ethereal Mastering. His passion has always been helping people hear music with clarity, depth, and care.

Angela has spent much of her life leading worship, teaching, songwriting, recording, and serving as a worship pastor for the past 10 years. Her heart has consistently been to help people respond to God through worship and Scripture in meaningful, grounded ways.

Away from the studio, you’ll usually find us chasing mountain views, exploring rivers and coastlines, visiting glaciers, or cooking together and trying new recipes. Stephen is often somewhere with a gold pan in hand. Angela is usually nearby with knitting or crochet.

Together, we are a blended family, bringing children and grandchildren into this Faith Rest Life.
